Check it out Aunt Tiny I managed to get "SOMETHING" (at this point I am happy with ANYTHING!) loaded!!:) Actually if you go to Dropshots then you can catch up on all the Fall pics and videos that Blogger has been giving me a hard time about loading. ;) I would say more but it still took a long time to get those loaded and I need a shower to make the morning go easier. Julia is over her bizarre fever illness and back in school this week, Praise God! but that means back to getting up at o'dark early to get ready for school. I did get to meet her lil best friend from her class today, they live right around the corner!! The girls were so excited that their mom's got to meet so that they can have play dates now. LOL Devyn is doing well and as you can see in the video, just NON STOP MOTION. This is just a little taste of what our house is like now. I love this video for it demonstrates how polar opposite they are. One chilling on the couch (though still managing to boss her lil sis a bit) and the other going full bore around the room at the top of her lungs. Yes, this is our house now, and while a break once in a while is nice, over all, she cracks us up.

A few funnies

We had an insanely busy weekend here and I do have lots of pictures but Blogger is not letting me upload just now, so I'll try that post again in the morning. In the mean time, I have a few funny conversations to share before I forget them. ;)

Julia was talking with her Daddy the other day about names. First names, middle names, etc. The girls are just really discovering they share the same last name so this has all been part of the ongoing conversation all week. Well, she asked her Daddy why Papa and Nai-Nai call him Greg. He explained because Papa has the same name and so they always called him Greg growing up instead of Ray. She paused "but Daddy, I don't LIKE the name Greg"..... bahhaahaaha... Daddy in a chagrined voice, neither does Mama honey... sigh. LOL I swear I didn't prompt her on that AT ALL!

On Saturday before we went running errands and to the Pumpkin Patch (yes, pics from there coming as soon as it lets me;) Daddy went to get a quick hair cut so the girls and I waited in the van. Julia says " What is Daddy doing?" I replied "getting a hair cut" " BUT his hair is already short enough!!" again with the choking laughter as I try to tell her yes it is, but not according to the Air Force. HAHA.

Today as we were heading out, I was combing Devyn's hair just before leaving. She says "it's full of knots".. "Yes, baby it is, what did you do to it" (teasing her).
Devyn- "Daddy did it"
Me- "Are you sure?"
Devyn- pause-"Conner did it."
Me- "Conner did not do it, he's not even here, you have to stop blaming that boy for everything"
Devyn- "THAT BOY is my best friend!"
It gets better, as I was telling Daddy about this conversation as we were leaving for the Mullet Festival, she overheard all that and added to her Daddy "and Daddy THAT BOY loves me" Oh heaven help me, here we go again! LOL

5 year appt

Somehow I missed posting Devyn's 3 year old info. I'll look for that and post it later. I do know she was 31 lbs, because I was surprised by the drop there. Anyway, I'll look back and see what I did with it.
Julia went for her 5 year appt today. Daddy took her to it, so that I could keep a very tired 3 year old home for a nap. :) He said she did great. Height 43 and 3/4" tall, 37.5 lbs. I knew she wasn't quite at 40lbs yet. So tall, so thin and such long narrow feet. Buying shoes for this kid is not easy, but somehow I still manage to find them. Much to my hubby's dismay. LOL Other than that, all looked good and she's on track:)

After school conversation

A couple of times a week I have to pick Julia up from school, to keep everything running on time. So I did that today, as soon as she was settled in the van she started talking. Holy was she wound up today:) She said "Mom, I pulled on a boy's shirt" Me "Why would you do that?" Julia " I didn't mean to, I didn't know who he was, (pause) oh his name is Parker and he's in another class, and I didn't know him, but I pulled on his shirt and he LOOKED at me and talked to me. And no boys are allowed to look at me besides Bradon and Peyton!" OH MY! Really????? And so we start..... LOL
