We had a wonderful 4th of July here and hope that you all did as well. We had some very dear friends to share the day with and the kids all had a blast! B and the Princess started out being just a little shy but we let them come around on their own and trust me it didn't take long. Before we knew it we were hearing things like "come on, come with me B" and the like, by the time they got in the pool they were fast friends again. And then some. I hope they don't grow up to date later on, I will be way too trusting of B, I swear that boy could tell me anything and I would believe him. LOL. But it was very sweet watching him and the Princess reform their bonds of friendship like the last year apart never happened. We hope to see them often in the month that they are here.

And the Pixie, well she has just charmed everyone, oh she has them fooled. lol. But really she has been on pretty good behavior and has everyone commenting on what a cutie she is..if only she didn't already know it! Believe she does. When she thinks she is in trouble she will turn up the cuteness dial like you wouldn't believe. She is quickly learning how to use those eyes and that dimple to the utmost advantage.;)

All in all it was a great day but we have learned one lesson, we will skip the fireworks from now on, NOT WORTH IT! We spent I don't even know how long stuck in traffic and didn't get home til nearly midnight. Definitely a bunch of tired kids and exhausted parents. So today we are taking it easy, may go back down to the beach later or we may not and just hang in the pool today and hit the beach tomorrow. Not sure yet.
