The girls didn't quite know what to think of the Splash Park at first, but it didn't take long and they had the idea! Thank goodness the boys were there to show them how to have some fun. We had a last minute decision yesterday to go and meet up with them for a couple of hours. So glad we did and can't wait til next time. We are going to try and see them as much as we can this week before they leave us again. Yesterday was L's bday and he was so proud of turning 3! You should have seen his face when he asked how old the Princess was and I had to tell him that for one more week she was 3. His face just lit up and said "the same as ME??" Oh I have missed that little boy! He was taking the Princess and the Pixie in turns out into the water because B had just woke up and was not ready yet to interact (to be fair to B the Princess was in much the same condition), so L stepped up. But when B came around, I believe all he had to do was walk past the Princess and she was his, I told his Mama that he didn't have to work nearly as hard for that as he should have! Poor L was left trying to figure out what happened, but he soon decided it was fun to play with the Pixie too. Oh my! LOL

There was the Splash Pad and then this great playground, they had a ball! While their parents were suffering in the heat! We had shopping to do afterward so we didn't want to get to too wet or anything... oh sometimes it's no fun at all being the grown up! I plan on taking them out again Wednesday to a different splash park, then Mama gets a night out on Thursday (IMAGINE THAT!!! going to dinner and a movie with my friend will be so much fun!!) and then we are all going to meet up on Sunday at the water park. Saturday we have a picnic with Daddy's shop and will come home to cake, ice cream and presents for the Princess to celebrate her birthday. Busy, busy week but I know the girls are loving it!
