We're still here. We've spent the week alternately running to appointments and taking it super easy. The girls have both had this allergy cough thing going on, I was due for my annual blood work and eye appointment and then yesterday our social worker came down with adoption paperwork, we signed and now just wait for a court date and for the judge to say "it's official". We are hoping by the end of the month, please pray they slip us in to the court docket quickly! :)

She couldn't believe how much the Pixie has grown and commented on what a good bond the sisters seem to have! So good to hear that from someone else, and they really did play super well together while she was here. Pulled the cushions off the couch and proceeded to try to jump from the couch onto them, but we managed to stop that one. LOL.

The princess seems to have put her previously broken arm right out of her mind and has started climbing again... On EVERYTHING, turn your back and she's on the table, side board, or dressers...we have tried reminding her of the cast, it works for a few minutes, but not long enough and of course anything the Princess does the Pixie is right behind her. yikes.

I had already put up the camera this morning so I missed out on the hugs, but the Pixie is more and more just walking up to her big sister and giving her hugs! SO SWEET! I think the case worker being here yesterday made her a bit nervous though. She insisted on sitting on my lap through about 1/2 the paperwork, and she NEVER does that. She was not taking her eyes off of our worker at all. This is the same person that brought her down here so I think she was nervous on seeing her that she would have to leave again:( Poor baby, but once she realized she wasn't going anywhere she was fine and took off after Sissy. On the one hand she made it pretty clear she's happy to be here:)

Well, we are off to a baby shower this afternoon and then hopefully doing some relaxing at home with the family this evening. Hope you like the pictures, I couldn't resist catching the silly faces, even though Daddy was trying to tell them to stop after a bit, he is just too serious sometimes, we'll work that out of him ;) If the Princess hasn't yet, the Pixie certainly will ;)
